These Accommodation Terms (the “Terms”) govern accommodation contracts (“Accommodation Contracts”) between A Cabin Company Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) and guests (the “Guests”) using cabins operated by the Company (the “Facilities”). Matters not provided for in these Terms shall be governed by applicable laws and generally established practices.
Article 1 (Scope of Application)
- Accommodation Contracts and related agreements shall be governed by these Terms, the Company’s Subscription Terms of Use, and other house rules.
- Matters not stipulated herein shall be governed by laws and customs.
- In the event of any special agreement not contrary to laws or customs, such special agreement shall prevail.
Article 2 (Application for Accommodation)
Applications must be made through the Company’s website or app by entering the following:
- Name of Guest(s), including companions
- Dates and number of nights of stay
- Accommodation fee (per fee schedule)
- Other information required by the Company
Article 3 (Conclusion of Accommodation Contract)
- Contracts are concluded when the Guest completes a reservation and the Company issues a confirmation screen or email.
- Even if confirmation email is not received due to technical issues, if the reservation can be confirmed on the website/app, the contract is deemed concluded.
Article 4 (Refusal of Accommodation Contracts)
The Company may refuse accommodation if:
- The application does not conform to these Terms or the Subscription Terms of Use.
- No rooms are available.
- The Guest is likely to act contrary to laws or public morals.
- The Guest is determined to be part of antisocial forces.
- The Guest has disturbed other Guests.
- The Guest is clearly suffering from a contagious disease.
- The Guest makes violent demands or unreasonable requests.
- Accommodation cannot be provided due to natural disasters or unavoidable causes.
- Prohibited by local ordinances.
Article 5 (Guest’s Right to Cancel)
- For Subscribers:
- Free cancellation until 4:00 p.m. on the day prior to check-in.
- Cancellations after 4:00 p.m. on the day prior, or no-shows, incur a flat cancellation fee of JPY 5,500 (incl. tax).
- For Non-Subscribers:
- 8 days or more prior: Free
- 7–3 days prior: 30% of accommodation fee
- 2 days–1 day prior (until 4:00 p.m.): 50% of accommodation fee
- After 4:00 p.m. on the day prior or same-day cancellation: 100% of accommodation fee
- No-show: 100% of accommodation fee
- Cancellation fees will be charged to the registered credit card.
Article 6 (Company’s Right to Cancel)
The Company may cancel the contract if:
- The Guest is likely to act against laws or public morals.
- The Guest is confirmed to be part of antisocial forces.
- The Guest has disturbed other Guests.
- The Guest is clearly suffering from a contagious disease.
- The Guest violates fire prevention rules or house rules.
- Accommodation cannot be provided due to force majeure.
Article 7 (Registration)
Upon check-in, Guests must register:
- Name, address, age, gender, occupation
- For foreign nationals: nationality and passport number
- Check-in and check-out dates
- Other matters required by the Company
Article 8 (Hours of Use)
Guest rooms may be used from 4:00 p.m. on the day of check-in until 12:00 p.m. on the following day. For consecutive nights, rooms may be used continuously except on the first check-in and final check-out days.
Article 9 (Compliance with Rules)
Guests must comply with house rules posted by the Company. In particular, the following are prohibited:
- Smoking indoors (cleaning fees apply for violations)
- Use of fire outside designated areas (including bonfires/BBQs)
- Loud noise between 10:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.
- Bringing animals (except service dogs)
Article 10 (Payment of Fees)
- Accommodation fees shall be paid at check-out by the registered credit card, in accordance with the fee schedule.
- Additional fees (cleaning, damages, etc.) will also be charged to the registered credit card.
Article 11 (Company’s Liability)
- If the Company cannot provide accommodation due to reasons attributable to it, compensation shall be limited to JPY 30,000.
- The Company carries innkeeper’s liability insurance.
Article 12 (Guest’s Belongings and Valuables)
- The Company does not accept custody of valuables or cash. Guests are responsible for managing their belongings.
- The Company is not liable for loss or theft unless caused by willful misconduct or gross negligence.
Article 13 (Parking)
If parking is provided, the Company only lends space and assumes no responsibility for vehicle management.
Article 14 (Guest’s Responsibility)
- Guests are liable for damages caused to the Company by intent or negligence.
- Guests are responsible for the conduct of their companions.
Article 15 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any disputes arising from accommodation contracts shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance.
